Merry Christmas!

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a Christmas card.

I'm sure you have all been nice this year but if you have been naughty, I bet it was fun!

I have made a fun Christmas card using the "Naughty'isms" stamp set and the "Naughty" Dies. 

I started by making a background piece using Alcohol inks.  I die cut the Naughty or Nice sentiment from white card stock and adhered that to the background piece with some liquid glue.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set onto a strip of white card stock and adhered that directly under the die cut. Then  I stamped and colored a stocking and some presents, die cut them and adhered them with foam squares.  I finished off by adhering the panel to a top folding card base.

CAS-ual Fridays Flowery Background Stamp with Karin Pro Markers

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a card I made using the new Flowery Background stamp. 

 

How beautiful is this stamp!!

I white heat embossed the image on some watercolor card stock and pulled out my Karin Pro Markers.

I used four different color blues and scribbled them all over then took to it with a water brush and blended the color out.  Then I added some more color directly from the marker to the centers while it was still wet.  I trimmed the panel down slightly using a rectangle die and adhered it to a top folding card base with some dimensional foam tape.  I die cut 3 "hello's" from white card stock and adhered them together using liquid glue.  

This card could be used for any occasion so I thought it was perfect for the latest challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday - Cathy's All About Occasions

 Hello and welcome to my last post as a DT member at Watercooler Wednesday!

I’ve had a great time being a member of this team and I’ll miss my teamies but hopefully I’ll find some spare time to enter some of the fun challenges in the future.

This week the lovely Marsha is hosting the All About Occasions challenge.

For my card I coloured in the cute bird from MFT with watercolour markers and Prisma pencils.  I cut him out using my scan n cut and adhered him on top of an ink blended panel. I added the die cut frame around him and stamped the sentiment and the music notes with black ink.

Hello, it’s time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and the lovely Dawn is our host with a Masculine Twist.

When I’m stuck for ideas for a masculine card I usually get the balloon stamps out!

Today I've used the "Balloon Bash" stamp set from Uniko along with Catherine Pooler Inks.The sentiment is from Catherine Pooler.

WWC307 - Heidi’s Challenge: Anything Goes With a Feminine Twist

Hello, it’s that time of the week again!

Time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and the lovely Heidi is our host with our Feminine Anything Goes.

I unfortunately had to make a sympathy card recently for a friend who lost her father, I never like making these but I know she appreciated it.

I’ve used “Faithful Flutterings” stamp set from Catherine Pooler and stamped it with CP inks.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set directly underneath and foam mounted the panel onto a card base.

WWC305 - Helen's Challenge: Anything Goes With a Masculine Twist

Helen is our lovely host this week with our Anything Goes with a Masculine Twist.

I have made a very CAS card this week using a die that came in one of Catherine Poolers Stamp of Approval boxes a few years ago.  Catherine has just released a remake of this set!

I sponged a few different blues over the present and bow and adhered it with some foam tape to the centre of the card panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the "Yay Gifts" stamp set also from CP Designs and then adhered the card panel to a top folding card base using some foam tape.

Hello and welcome back for another Challenge of at Watercooler Wednesday.  Kath is our lovely host this week.

I've made a thank you card this week using a new set I purchased from Simon Says Stamp.

I stamped the gnome onto some water colour card stock and used my Karin Brush Markers.  I stenciled some CP Ink using the new Chevron stencil from CAS-ual Fridays and popped the gnome up with some foam tape.

WWC302 - Marsha's Special 3-Week Anything Goes Challenge

 Hello, it's Wednesday again!

Time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and as this is our last challenge for the year, it will run for 3 weeks.

The lovely Marsha is our host for this "Anything Goes" challenge.

I've made a Christmas card using the  "Christmas Cheer" stamp set from MFT.  The sentiment is from a Kaisercraft set.  

I silver embossed the tree and coloured it in with my new set of Karin  Brushmaker Pro markers.  My gorgeous and very generous friend Tristan from Tinstar Designs visited me a few weeks ago with a special Christmas present for me!  Can I tell you that I cried when I opened it up and found a set of 63!   I can't thank her enough!

I've made a Christmas card today using the cute Happy Pugmas stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and  Whimsy Stamps.  I love this set so much, it was worth the wait!

I've kept my card pretty clean and simple.  I started by stamping the pug and colouring in with Polychromos pencils.  I cut him out using my scan n cut and popped him up with some foam tape.  That sentiment is so cheeky!

I have used a SSS stencil on my card this week.  After ink blending with some Catherine Pooler inks, I removed the stencil and added some shading with Prisma pencils.  I added a "happy" die cut from Catherine Pooler and stamped the "Birthday" with CP Midnight Ink.
