WWC276 - Marsha's Challenge: Anything Goes With a Masculine Twist

Hello and happy Wednesday.

We have a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and this time the lovely Marsha is our host. This week we have an "anything goes with a masculine twist challenge".

For my card I have used the "Happy Birthday" stamp set from The Stamping Village. This stamp set has 12 stamps from 12 different stamp companies.  I have used the one from Dare 2B Artzy and coloured the presents in with alcohol markers.  I added a strip of patterned paper underneath for a bit of interest as I thought it was a bit too CAS!

Hello there, is it Wednesday again already!!

Time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and this week Karen is our lovely host.

I've made another birthday card this week.  The way the year is flying by, I think I had better make a start on my Christmas cards real soon.

I used a cute stamp set from Gerda Steiner today and coloured in my images with alcohol markers and Prisma pencils.  I cut them all out using my scan n cut and adhered them onto a card panel.  I grounded my critters with a strip of striped paper from Catherine Pooler and stamped the sentiment from Close to My Heart.

For my card this week I've used the Balloon Bash stamp set again from Uniko and made a birthday card.  I stamped the balloons with 

CP Inks and added a sentiment from Clearly Besotted.  I'm trying to use up some of my coloured card stock so I added a yellow panel before adhering it to a top folding card base.

WWC269 - Fifth Week Anything Goes Challenge

Hello, it's time for a new challenge at Watercooler Wednesday.

I made a birthday card for my hubby who celebrated his 60th birthday in ISO yesterday!  I told him we will celebrate it properly next year with a big combined 60th party!

I used a Balloon stencil from Neat & Tangled and sponged with Distress Inks in rainbow colours.  I stamped the bold sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays "Shenanigans" stamp set and die cut the 60 from black card stock.

I have made a pet sympathy card today using one of the new stamp sets from CAS-ual Fridays called "Rainbow Bridge".  Our pets are one of the family and when we lose them they take a piece of our heart with them.

Hello, it's that time of the week again!

Time for a new challenge at Watercooler Wednesday and this week Helen is our host with an "All About Occasions" Challenge.

I've made a Christmas card again this week using this beautiful die I picked up at a craft show.  I die cut a circle the same size from an alcohol ink background piece and adhered it to the back of the die cut.  Then I adhered that onto a top folding card base with dimensional tape and added a silver bow to the top.  I stamped the sentiment with versamark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

I just received a new stencil from Simon Says Stamp called "Flora".  I ink blended Coral Cabana and Be Mine CP ink over the stencil then I took some Prisma pencils in similar colours and added some shading.  I cut a strip and matted it with some black card stock and adhered it directly onto a white card base. The sentiment strip is from The Ton digital stamps.

WWC240 - Kath's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Hello and happy Wednesday, it's time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and Kath is our host this week with an "All About Occasions" Challenge.

I have made a birthday card using a gorgeous background stamp from Catherine Pooler Designs called "Climbing Flowers".

I stamped the image onto a piece of Neenah 80lb card stock with versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Then I ink blended three different colours of CP inks using  blending brush.  I die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a card base with some fun foam.  I added a sentiment strip from The Ton digital stamps.
