CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 179

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  This weeks challenge over at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog is Dies only!! No stamps!  For my card, I used the tag buddies, posies, friend and friendly flowers Fri-dies.  At first it was a challenge for me not to use a stamp but I was surprised at how easily it came together using just dies. I sponged CP designs Ink in Flirty Fucshia and Melon Ice on some card stock then die cut my flowers from the posies Fri-die. I love those colours!

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is make a card using Dies only and link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays Fri-dies as the main focus of your card!

The Ton Challenge

Hello, I am playing along with The Ton challenge for the month of July.  They have a beautiful mood board and I took my inspiration for my card from the pink skirt and the stripes.

I stamped the Peony Terrace background stamp with Versamark ink and white heat embossed it.  I then coloured with my Zig real brush markers, added a sentiment from the Large Peony set and a strip of striped cardstock.

Strawberry Mouse

My card today is for the Gerda Steiner challenge for the month of July.  The free digi stamp I received this month is this cute little Strawberry Mouse.  I used my trusty Zig Real Color Brush Markers on my image and stencilled the background with picked raspberry distress ink. Christmas in July CFC178

Hello and happy Friday!  We are celebrating Christmas in July over at The CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog this week.  I love making Christmas cards, I just need to remember to put them in the mail when the time comes!!
For my card this week, I used the Christmas Sparkle stamp set and the co-ordinating Ornament tag dies.  I silver heat embossed the stars on the card base and added a few blue ones for interest.  I stamped my sentiment onto the ornament along with the circle border in CP Designs Something Borrowed Ink.  I added a bit of sparkle with glue and glitter.

The Flower Challenge

Hello, I made my card today for The Flower Challenge - #10 Embossing Heat/Dry.

I used the Peony Terrace background stamp from The Ton and white heat embossed onto Bristol card stock.  I sponged CP Designs Ink in Pixie Dust and Flirty Fuchsia and added a sentiment from Altenew Label Love.  This card came together quite quickly so I think I'll make a few more in different colours for my stash.

Less is More and AAA cards collaboration

Hello, today I am playing along with the Less is More and AAA cards collaboration challenge.
The challenge is to use a coloured card base and keep it CAS.

I was very fortunate recently to win a stamp of my choice from The Ton's newest release on their blog hop.  My comment was chosen from the lovely Lisa Harrolle's blog, do yourself a favour and click here"Embellish my world" to see her amazing creations!  I chose the "Peony Terrace" cling background stamp and I have used it in the corners of my card.  I stamped it onto a pink card base with versamark ink then clear heat embossed.  I coloured the inside of the image with a white prisma pencil and lightly sponged over the top with Distress Ink in picked raspberry.  I stamped my sentiment from the Young at heart stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays exclusively for CP Stamp of Approval.
