For my card today I have used the Coffee Talk stamp set and the Coffee Cup Fri-Dies.
I started by smooshing some watercolour inks onto a piece of watercolour paper and when it was dry I die cut the large coffee cup from it.  I then die cut a heap of the smaller cup in white card stock and adhered them all onto a card panel.  I die cut the "coffee" sentiment from black card stock and adhered that onto the coffee cup then stamped the sentiment underneath.

I then removed the stencil and added some spots of glue using a glue pen, then sprinkled it with glitter.
It's really sparkly and pearly in real life!

MFT 2019 Card Design Superstar Contest

Hello, today I have made a card for the MFT 2019
Card Design Superstar contest Clean and Simple Genius category.

I recently purchased the Tweet Friends stamp set and I can't stop using it!  Those little singing birds are so cute!
I started by sponging some pink ink using the MFT Mix-ables cloud stencil and kept it to the lower right hand corner. I stamped the bird onto a separate piece of card stock and coloured it in with alcohol markers and Prisma pencils. I fussy cut the image out and adhered it onto my stencilled background with some foam tape for a bit of dimension.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set and adhered that directly underneath the bird then stamped some of the music notes directly onto the card panel.  I cut my card panel slightly smaller than my card base and adhered it with a piece of craft foam.

I hope you like my card today.
You can click HERE to take you over to the MFT blog to check out all the gorgeous cards already entered.
Thanks for visiting.

Stenciling Challenges and MFT stamp set

Hello and happy Monday!  Today I have two cards using stencils as backgrounds.  I have a new MFT stamp set by Stacey Yacula called Tweet Friends and the little birds are so adorable.  Thanks to my friend Michelle Lupton for enabling me!!

For my first card I blended some Catherine Pooler ink in one corner of my card panel. Then I placed the "Perfect Vine" stencil also from Catherine Pooler over the top and pressed a baby wipe over to take some of the ink off.  I coloured in the sweet little bird with Copics and Prisma pencils and adhered it with some foam tape.  The sentiment strip is from The Ton's new Birthday Sentiment Strips printables.

I am entering this into the CAS Stencil Challenge which is "baby wipes".

I made my second card using the Grid Stencil from Altenew with CP Ink and my blending brushes.  I coloured another one of the cute birds from MFT with Copics and Prisma pencils.  The sentiment is again from The Ton printables.

I am entering this card into the AAA Birthday Challenge which is "Use a Stencil"

Thanks for looking and have a great week!
