CAS-ual Fridays Flowery Background

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a card I made using the beautiful Flowery Background Stamp and some Karin Brush Markers.

I love using this stamp with white embossing powder!  I chose two colors of  Karin Markers and just scribbled onto my card panel and took to it with a water brush. 

I die cut the Smile from the Sassy Smiles Duo using white and black card stock and adhered them together to give it a shadow effect.  The sentiment is from the same Sassy Smiles Duo set.

Sending Smiles with CAS-ual Fridays

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a card I made using the Sassy Smiles Duo set and the Flowerburst Stencil. 

As much as I love coloring in sometimes I just want a quick card and these duo sets are perfect for that!  I die cut the smile and ink blended  Catherine Pooler inks  “Pucker Up” and “Catching Rays”.

Then I used the same colors on the Flowerburst stencil and stamped the sentiment in black ink directly onto my stenciled piece.  I adhered the “Smile” with some foam tape and added the panel to a top folding card base with some more foam tape.

CAS-ual Friday -- CAS card with no stamping.

 Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a CAS card I made with no stamping!

I didn't do it on purpose and only realised when I had finished that there was not a single stamp used!

Although the little die cut flowers came from the Sassy Smiles Duo stamp set so maybe that counts.

CAS-ual Fridays March Release Day 4

Hello and welcome back for the last day of the CAS-ual Fridays March release.

Today we are showcasing the Swirls Stencil. 

I made two cards today by ink blending onto some Neenah card stock and then stenciling over the top with a darker colour.  I used the Sassy Smiles Duo stamp set to add my sentiments to the centre of the swirl!

CAS-ual Fridays March Release Day 2

 

Hello and welcome back for day 2 of the CAS-ual Fridays March Release.

Today we are showcasing the Sassy Smiles Duo and Flowerburst Stencil.

I started by blending CP Inks onto a piece of white card stock and die cut the word Smile.  I used the same colours with the Flowerburst Stencil.  I adhered the smile to the outline die cut and adhered it to the stenciled panel with some foam tape.  I stamped the sentiment with black ink and adhered the card panel to a top folding card base with dimensional tape.  I added some of the little heart and flower die cuts onto the card panel and a few directly onto the card base.
