WWC244 - Helen's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Hello, it's that time of the week again!
Time for a new challenge at Watercooler Wednesday and this week Helen is our host with an "All About Occasions" Challenge.

I've made a Christmas card again this week using this beautiful die I picked up at a craft show.  I die cut a circle the same size from an alcohol ink background piece and adhered it to the back of the die cut.  Then I adhered that onto a top folding card base with dimensional tape and added a silver bow to the top.  I stamped the sentiment with versamark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a card I made using some Brusho and Colorburst watercolor powders and Prisma pencils.

I have never had much luck with those powders, I just don't know when to stop with the spraying of water and end up making a huge mess!  Today I have used them in a different way.

Challenge me a Christmas card with Michelle Lupton

Hello and happy Saturday!
I'm so happy to be joining Michelle Lupton again this year for her "Challenge me a Christmas Card" event!
Michelle asked me to choose a theme so I have chosen glitter.  I can't wait to see what Michelle has made, her cards are beautiful!

For my card I have used a stamp from Whimsy Stamps that I have had in my stash for a few years.  I love pulling out old stamps to use at Christmas time.  Actually I can't recall ever using this one!!
I coloured this cute little hamster in with Copics and Prisma pencils and then used a quickie glue pen to add some glitter.
I'd forgotten how hard it is to capture all the sparkle of glitter in photos!

Here's a close up showing more of the glitter.

Thanks for visiting and you can click HERE to take you over to Michelle's blog to see her glittery Christmas card.

MFT 2019 Card Design Superstar Contest

Hello, today I have made a card for the MFT 2019
Card Design Superstar contest Clean and Simple Genius category.

I recently purchased the Tweet Friends stamp set and I can't stop using it!  Those little singing birds are so cute!
I started by sponging some pink ink using the MFT Mix-ables cloud stencil and kept it to the lower right hand corner. I stamped the bird onto a separate piece of card stock and coloured it in with alcohol markers and Prisma pencils. I fussy cut the image out and adhered it onto my stencilled background with some foam tape for a bit of dimension.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set and adhered that directly underneath the bird then stamped some of the music notes directly onto the card panel.  I cut my card panel slightly smaller than my card base and adhered it with a piece of craft foam.

I hope you like my card today.
You can click HERE to take you over to the MFT blog to check out all the gorgeous cards already entered.
