Less is More Challenge #403

Hello and happy Saturday.  It's time for a new challenge over at Less is More and this time we want to see you use metallic on your card. This could be metal objects, metal colours, foiling etc.  I have used some silver embossing powder for my metallic look!

We are sponsored again by the very generous Funky Fossil Designs.
Sarah has some beautiful stencils and stamp sets!

For my card today I used a dotted stencil and inked up the side of my card panel with versamark ink and used some silver embossing powder.  The flower is from Catherine Pooler Designs and I cut it out with my scan n cut and popped it up with some dimensional tape.  The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers.

We would love you to join us!  All you have to do is make a CAS card with some metallic on it and link it up to our challenge HERE.  Don't forget we like to see lots of white space on your card.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. Love your silver embossed dots juxtaposed with the beautiful yellow and green of the flower! Lovely card.

  2. Very elegant with the silver dots stripe. A beautiful way to highlight the lovely flower. An awesome CAS card. xx

  3. Love this cheery yellow flower and the card has a really cute feel by adding those lovely dots. Great design xx

  4. Love the contrast of the silver dots and the bright yellow flower. Stunning!

  5. You make it all sound so simple Michelle! I love the embossed stencilling and the flower is a charming surprise against it :)

  6. Brilliant! Your embossed stenciling is superb Michelle. It adds that touch of luxury to your card and is a lovely background for the pretty flower too. xx
