Less is More Challenge 360/361

Hello, I thought I would enter one final challenge for 2017 using one of my favourite stamp sets for one of my favourite challenges.  This weeks Less is More challenge is a sketch and I have stamped the flowers from CAS-ual Fridays Pretty Posies.  I white heat embossed and coloured with  Zigs in my signature pink!  The sentiment is from Altenew Label Love. I stamped the leaves with Memento London Fog ink. You can click here to check out the challenge for yourself.

Thanks for looking and I would like to wish you a happy and safe 2018.  See you next year!

Guest Designer for Less is More

Hello and thanks for stopping by!  I am so excited to be Guest Designing over at the Less is More challenge blog today.  This is one of my favourite challenge blogs so I was honoured to be chosen as the October winner and invited to guest design for this weeks challenge.  The theme is birds/feathers so I have used the beautiful stamp from Papertrey Ink Feather Finery on my card.  I inked up the feather with Kaleidacolor - caribbean sea ink, gave it a light spritz with water and stamped onto some water color card stock.  I used the matching die to cut the feather out and mounted it onto my top folding card base.

CAS-ual Fridays Dreaming of a White Christmas

Hello and happy Friday!  This is the last CAS-ual Fridays challenge for the year and today we are Dreaming of a white Christmas. I can only dream of a white Christmas considering I live down under in Australia.  I hope one day to visit my sister who lives in the UK at Christmas time, hopefully that day will come soon enough!  But in the meantime I will dream LOL.  My Winter Christmas stamps are limited but I managed to come up with this card using the CAS-ual Fridays Christmas Sparkle stamp set.  I have white heat embossed my sentiment and stars onto a piece of navy blue card stock and tied a piece of silver twine around the top before adhering onto a white card base.

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is make a  card using the theme  "Dreaming of a white Christmas" and link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps as the main focus of your card!

Fushion Challenge - Blue Gift

Hello and happy Friday!  Today I am entering a new to me challenge over at the Fushion Card Challenge blog.

I love the inspiration photo and the sketch so I chose to create FUSHION and used both!  I love blue and silver together!  I wrapped my blue ribbon around my card stock and added some silver twine, then I stamped my sentiment onto a little tag and tied it onto the bows with another piece of silver twine.  I adhered my panel onto a top folding card base with foam squares and called it a day.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #188

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  It's time for a new challenge over at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog and this week our theme is "Winter Blues".  It is the first day of Summer here in Australia and we have had a long spell of hot weather  so I am dreaming of a cold winters day.  I made a birthday card since I don't have the need for wintery Christmas cards down here.  I used my Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze ink pad and the smooshing technique to make my background then stamped the sentiment from the Whole Shebang stamp set.

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is make a Winter blues card and link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps as the main focus of your card!

Let it Shine #356 LIM

Hello and happy Monday!  Today's card is for the challenge over at Less is More and the theme is "Let it shine".  I have used one of my newer sets from Uniko called Christmas Sparkle and I thought it was perfect for this challenge.  For my first card, I stamped the bauble with Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze ink and then with Versamark and clear sparkle embossing powder to make it "shine".  It is hard to pick up all the sparkly beauty in the photo.  For my second card I used the same ink pad but instead of using the sparkly embossing powder, I used my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  It doesn't show up very well in the photo but it is pretty in real life!  Click here to take you to the Less is More challenge blog.

Thanks for looking and I will be back on Friday with another CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

Less is More #355

Hello and happy Sunday from sunny Melbourne!  My card today is for the challenge over at Less is More and it is CASEing Susan.  Happy birthday Susan!  I have chosen to colour this gorgeous "Reindeer Peeker" digi from Bugaboo Stamps. I used my Prisma pencils, fussy cut him out and adhered him to my card base with foam squares to add a bit of dimension.  I drew a frame around him with a Zig pure black marker, stamped my sentiment and drew some holly and berries in the top corner.

I made a second card using a bigger reindeer image,  die cut a rectangular stitched panel and adhered it to my card base with foam squares.  Click here to check out the Less is More challenge.

Thanks for looking and have a great week!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #187

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  Our challenge this week over at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog is Gratitude with attitude.  I have a lot to be grateful for and my wonderful friends are just one of the things!  For my card today, I drew a circle in pencil and stamped one of the flowers from the Mon Ami stamp set around it five times.  I coloured them with Copics and stamped the Thank U from the Bold Wishes stamp set in the middle.

Christmas Mouse

Hello, today I am playing along with the Gerda Steiner challenge for November.  This months free digi is this cute little mouse on a bauble.  I have made two cards and I coloured them both in with a combination of copics and prisma color pencils. I usually print the digi's onto Bristol card stock and colour with my Zig markers but I have run out of Bristol so I had to use normal card stock and my Zigs don't play well with normal card stock!!    I added some diamond glitter with a quickie glue pen to the hat.  The sentiments on both cards are from Festive Sentiments by Uniko. You can click here if you would like to check the challenge out for yourself.

Thanks for looking and have a good week!

CAS-ual Fridays anything but a card

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  This weeks challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays is "Anything but a card"!
I chose to make some Christmas tags with the Christmas Sparkle stamp set and matching Ornament tag die.
My first tag was very quick and easy, I stamped my images with Versamark ink onto black card stock and gold heat embossed.  For my second tag I decided to make it a shaker tag.  This is also very easy with the matching dies although any circle die could be used.  I gold heat embossed this time on white card stock and filled my shaker with some star confetti I had laying around. These make pretty tags for your Christmas gifts.

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is make anything but a card and link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps as the main focus of your card!

Rosie Posie Sunday

Hello and welcome to my blog this fine sunny Sunday morning!  I finally got a little bit organised and found two challenges that I could enter with one card.  Less is More's challenge is Stamp Layering and CASology's is Cherish.  I chose one of my favourite stamps sets from Papertrey Ink called Rosie Posie.  This is the first layering stamp set I saw years ago and have admired it ever since.  The sentiment is from Summer Bouquet stamp set from Inspired by stamping and I thought it was perfect for someone whom I cherish.  I stamped the flowers with CP Designs Ink in It's a girl and Party Dress and the leaves and sentiment with Mememto London fog.

The Ton Mood Board Challenge

20689714_10103746388010209_4128818568695788708_o

Hello, today I'm playing along with The Ton Challenge.  This month they have a fun coffee mood board.  Since I don't have any coffee themed stamp sets, I took my inspiration from the bottom right tea cup and stamped the flowers from "Sending Peonies".  I silver heat embossed and coloured with my zig markers.  The sentiment is from the "Large Peony 1" stamp set.  I cut around the bottom of the image and adhered my panel to the card base with foam adhesive.

Less is More #350 Stars

Hello, my card today is for the Less is More challenge #350 OLC Stars.  I used an old stamp set from Clearly Besotted called Superstar.  I didn't read the challenge properly to start with and I made a card using the matching die set and popped up my stars with dimensionals. Then I had a closer look and realised it is a OLC (one layer card) challenge so I made another one using the stamps. I stamped the stars with my Kaleidacolor Caribbean Sea ink pad and added some glitter using a Quickie glue pen.

And here is my first card using the die cuts and my yupo alcohol ink piece.

Less is More Hot & Spicy #349

Hello, my card today is for the latest challenge over at Less is More.  It's a colour challenge this week using hot and spicy colours.  I have chosen to use some new to me stamp sets from Uniko.  I stamped the flower from Beautiful Blooms II with some CP Inks (Tiki Torch and Tiara) and did some highlighting with my  prisma color pencils. This set does come with a layering stamp but I find it relaxing to do the shading myself. The leaves are from the Natures Treasures II set and I gold heat embossed them.  The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays WTF set.
The gold splatters are from a gold color shine spray from Heidi Swapp. You can check the challenge out here!

The Flower Challenge #13

Hello and happy Saturday.  It's World Card Making Day today!  I made my card today for The Flower Challenge, they are celebrating their 1st anniversary and there are prizes involved!! All the prizes look amazing, I would love to win the Neat and Tangled set!!
I have many favourite flower stamps but one of them is this gorgeous set from Altenew called Magnolias for her.  I clear heat embossed onto some Bristol card stock and coloured my flowers with Zigs and water.  I fussy cut them out and adhered them onto a white card base and stamped some of the buds directly onto the card base.

Thanks for looking and you can check The Flower Challenge out here.
