AAA Cards 5th Birthday

Hello,  my card today is for AAA Cards 5th Birthday Challenge #141
Congrats AAA Cards!

The present die is from SSS and I die cut one from white card stock and another from an alcohol piece I had in my stash.  I inlaid the alcohol pieces inside the white outline piece directly onto a stitched rectangle panel then mounted it onto my card base with dimensional tape.

The Flower Challenge #32

Hello and happy Thursday!  My card today is for The Flower Challenge  which is embossing.
I have a new stamp from Altenew which was begging to be used.
I stamped the floral image from "Weekend Doodles" and coloured it in with my new Set D Altenew alcohol markers.  I love the pinks and greens is this set.  I pulled out a very old "frame" embossing folder from Stampin Up and embossed the middle of my card panel.  I fussy cut out the two flowers from my coloured image and adhered them to the frame with some foam tape.  I bought a huge roll of foam tape from Bunnings for $12.00!!  What a bargain and it is good quality with just the right amount of dimension that I like!

Thanks for visiting and you can click HERE to take you over to the Flower Challenge.

WWC221 - Tristan's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

Hello and happy Wednesday,  that means it's time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday.
This week Tristan is our host with a Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge.
I'm slowly getting better at making masculine cards thanks to Watercooler Wednesday!
Image may contain: one or more people and text

For my card today I have used the cute "Nate & Friday" stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays.  I stamped my cute little Boston Terrier in black ink and coloured him in with Prisma pencils.  I did some flicking with a black pencil to try to give the effect of short fur. It's a bit hard to tell in the photo.  I used a stencil from Funky Fossil for the background and stamped the sentiment from the same CAS-ual Fridays stamp set.

No photo description available.

Come join in the fun at Watercooler Wednesday.  All you have to do is make an "anything goes" Masculine card and link it up to our challenge post.  Check out the projects that the other artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges have created for some inspiration. Birthday cards are mostly the cards I make so this challenge is right up my alley!

The first challenge is Anything Goes, how easy is that!

You're so tweet!

Hello and happy Sunday.  My card today is for the CASology challenge week 341 which is to use the colour Turquoise.

I stamped the cute Toucan from the Catherine Pooler "Toucan Do It" stamp set and coloured it in with Prisma pencils in two different shades of turquoise.  I sponged some CP ink directly onto my top folded card base using an Altenew stencil.  I cut the Toucan out with my scan n cut and adhered it with some foam tape.  The sentiment is from the same Toucan stamp set.

A cup of pretty coffee for CAS-ual Fridays and the Coffee Lovers!

Hello, I am up on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a card for day 2 of the Spring/ Summer Coffee Lover's blog hop!
CAS-ual Fridays are one of the many sponsors so make sure you hop on over and check out the blog hop.

I love pretty things and the "Coffee Talk" sentiment stamp set is perfect for my floral coffee card!

I die cut the coffee cup from the "Coffee Cup" Fri-Dies  in pink card stock and sponged around the edge with pink ink.  Then I die cut the "coffee" from the same Fri-die set out of pink and white card stock and layered them together slightly off setting the white one to give the shadow effect.  I also used a pink Prisma colored pencil around the edge of the "coffee" word to make it stand out a little bit more.  I die cut some flowers from the "4 Petals" Fri-dies in pink card stock and added some color again with the Prisma colored pencils.

I adhered the coffee cup and petals onto a card panel with dimensional tape and stamped the sentiment above and below my pretty coffee with black ink.  The card panel is also adhered to my top folding card base with dimensional tape.

You can click on the below images to take you directly to the shop.
