CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #183

                       No automatic alt text available.

Hello, is it Friday again already!!  That means its time for a new challenge over at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog.   It will be Christmas before we know it!

This week we challenge you to make a shaker card.  I've only ever made one other shaker card before but I did enjoy making this one.  I kept it CAS as per usual and die cut the Mon Ami flower from my front panel and added a piece of acetate on the back.  I stamped the flower on my die cut piece and adhered it to a top folding card base. I coloured it in with some alcohol markers, added some clear PPP sequins and adhered my top die cut panel on top with foam tape. I couldn't decide what else to put on the front of the card so I just left it as is.

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is make a shaker card  and  link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps as the main focus of your card!

Happy Friday with Spectrum Noir

Hello and happy Friday!  Today I'm playing with some Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers and stamps.  I have to say I love these markers!  We have a Masterclass coming up on Stamp Nation this month featuring Sprectrum Noir Aqua markers and I'm looking forward to learning some different techniques.   I stamped with black versafine ink onto a piece of Bristol card stock and coloured  the flowers in with the Aqua markers and a water brush. I added some shimmer with the Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.   My sentiment is from the same stamp set called "Best Wishes". There are so many beautiful florals in this set along with some great sentiments.  I am playing along with the Less is More challenge #345 OLC  "colouring in".

Sweet Tooth Mouse

Hello, today I am playing along with the Gerda Steiner challenge.  This months digi stamp is this Sweet Tooth Mouse!  I coloured her in with my Zig brush markers and popped her onto a background that I had sponged with Distress inks.  I thought "What's cooking good looking" suited this image perfectly! CASE a Girl Friday!

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  Today over at the
CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog we are CASEing a Girl Friday.
CASE stands for Copy and share everything so we challenge you to CASE one of your favourite cards by one of our Girl Fridays.  I decided to CASE the very talented Marcia from Marcia K Designs.  Click here to see Marcia's card.  Instead of using a die, I stamped the border from Bold Wishes stamp set down the left hand side of my card using Kaleidacolor ink pad "Caribbean Sea".  I stamped the sentiment using the same inkpad.  I sponged my background piece with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers.

The Flower Challenge Tic Tac Toe

Hello, I made this card for the challenge over at The Flower Challenge.  It's a Tic Tac Toe challenge and I chose Embossing, Water Colour and Blue.  I embossed this gorgeous stamp from Penny Black (Poppy Gems) with white embossing powder onto Bristol card stock and water coloured it with my Zig real brush markers.  The colours I used are Light Blue and Blue. My sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping (Summer Bouquet).

Less is More Challenge 344

Hello, I made my card today for the latest challenge over at Less is More.  The theme this week is to use Royal Blue and Lime Green.  I love those colours together, so much for the old saying "Blue and Green should never be seen"!  I used the Scribble stencil from Tim Holtz and sponged CP Inks in Something Borrowed and Garden Party.  My sentiment is from the Summer Bouquet stamp set from Inspired by Stamping.
