CAS-ual Fridays Celebration

Hello everyone and welcome to my last post for 2021!

We are celebrating over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog by sharing some celebratory cards to inspire you.

We are also sharing our favorite project of the year.

I've made a celebration card using the Celebrate sentiment from Shenanigans stamp set along with the Jacks stencil.

My favorite project for this year was a hard decision but I settled on this one using the Flowery Background stamp along with the Sweet Friend Die.

Merry Christmas!

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a Christmas card.

I'm sure you have all been nice this year but if you have been naughty, I bet it was fun!

I have made a fun Christmas card using the "Naughty'isms" stamp set and the "Naughty" Dies. 

I started by making a background piece using Alcohol inks.  I die cut the Naughty or Nice sentiment from white card stock and adhered that to the background piece with some liquid glue.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set onto a strip of white card stock and adhered that directly under the die cut. Then  I stamped and colored a stocking and some presents, die cut them and adhered them with foam squares.  I finished off by adhering the panel to a top folding card base.

Rachelle Anne Miller December Release

 

Hello, I’m sharing a sneak peek today of the gorgeous “Cuddling Koalas” digital stamp by  Rachelle Anne Miller .

I printed the image out onto some Hammermill card stock using my laser printer.  I coloured it in with Prisma coloured pencils and blended with some Gamsol. I added a sentiment strip from Uniquely Creative.

AAA Cards Challenge #205

Hello, it’s time for a new challenge at AAA Cards and as this is our last one for the year, it will last for 4 weeks!

We are also introducing you to another new DT member so be sure to pop over to the challenge  blog to see who it is!

For my card today I’ve used the sweet penguin from Rachelle Anne Miller’s Christmas Penguins Scene Creator.  I gold  heat embossed the JOY laser cut from Uniquely Creative and added some gold glitter with a glue pen. I stamped the sentiment from an old Wplus9 stamp set and added a strip of patterned paper.

CAS-ual Fridays - Happy Hanukkah

 Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a couple of cards to celebrate the last night of Hanukkah.

For my first card I've used the Festival of Lights stamp set and the Hanukkah Dies and made a slimline card.

My next card was pretty quick and simple.  I used the 8 Happy Nights stamp set and the Berry Blaze Kaleidacolor ink pad.

CAS-ual Fridays Raindrops Duo and a HUGE sale!

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a few cards I made using the Raindrops Duo stamp and die set.

My first card is made using the stamps only with some Catherine Pooler Inks.

For my second card I used the stamp for the sentiment and the dies for the raindrops and clouds.

I ink blended the die cuts with a rainbow of Catherine Pooler inks.

CAS-ual Fridays stenciling and stamping.

 Hello,  I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a couple of fun stenciled and stamped cards.

I created my backgrounds using some of the new colours of Catherine Pooler inks with the Stars and Stripes Stencil.  I blended the two colours together using a blending brush and used that piece as a background for the bunny from the Somebunny Stamp Set.

I stamped and die cut the bunny and adhered it to the stenciled piece with some dimensional tape.

For my second card I stuck to the one color ink and stamped the sentiment from Hello Stamps directly onto my stenciled piece.

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards!

For my card today I've used a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

I stamped the cute gnome and coloured him in with alcohol markers.  I cut him out using my scan n cut, added a strip of patterned paper and popped him up with some foam tape.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
