CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 207

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  We have a new challenge over at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog today.

This week we challenge you to use mint and neutral colours in your  project.  Click HERE to take you to the challenge and check  out all the inspiration.

I stamped the gorgeous ballerina from the Tutu stamp set in Versafine Black ink and clear heat embossed.  Then I masked off a square around my image and sponged "Mint to Be" Catherine Pooler Ink over my image.   The sentiment is from the same Tutu stamp set and I stamped that with "Over Coffee" CP ink.

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is make a card using the graphic as inspiration and link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps as the main focus of your card!  Good luck!

Muse Challenge #280

Hello, my card today is for the Muse Challenge #280.  This week's Muse is Kim and here is her beautiful card.  Click here to take you directly to the Muse Challenge blog.

                                                                      Kim's card.

I was inspired by the birds sitting on the branch and I have used a new stamp set from Uniquely Creative called You....Calyptus.

I stamped my images in Memento Black ink, coloured them in with my new Kaszazz Alcohol Markers and cut them out using my Scan n cut.  I mounted them onto a square die cut panel and added that with foam tape to a top fold 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"  card base.  The sentiment is from Uniko's Happpy Succulents stamp set.

Here is my card.

CAS Christmas

Hello, today I made a card for the CAS Christmas card challenge.  This year is flying along so quickly it will be Christmas before we know it so I need to make a start on my cards!  I pulled out an old SSS stamp set called Merry Trees and inked it up with the Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze ink.  The sentiment is written within the tree which keeps the card nice and CAS.  I die cut a square and added a strip of silver glitter card stock across the card base then adhered the tree with foam tape. I added some glitter to the tree using a quickie glue pen.

Click HERE to take you to the CAS Christmas card challenge, it is full of gorgeous CAS Christmas cards!

One layer birthday card

Hello, I wanted to be a little bit organised today and make a card that fits in with three challenges.
Firstly I went over to the Muse challenge where this weeks Muse is Tracey McNeely with this beautiful card.

I love the water coloured smooshed background and the scripty sentiment on Tracey's card and those PPP flowers are gorgeous.  I kept my card one layer so I could also enter it into The Flower Challenge.  I stamped the Happy Succulents stamp from Uniko in versamark and clear heat embossed it.  Then I used my Zig clean color real brush markers to colour in the succulents and leaves and did some ink smooshing.  My scripty sentiment is from Stampin Up Picture Perfect Birthday.  I am also entering this into the Seize the Birthday challenge where it is "anything goes".

Here's my one layer birthday card.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 206

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  Today on the CAS-ual Fridays inspiration blog we have a "Back to School" challenge for you.  Of course here in Australia we are in the middle of the school year and I don't have children in school so I have chosen to use the colours from the inspiration picture for my card.  I have used the Bold Wishes stamp set and stamped in Catherine Pooler inks.

Good luck!

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge

Hello and happy Sunday!  It is a beautiful sunny winters morning here, not a cloud in the sky.  I made this card yesterday for WWC182 Tristan's "All about occasions" challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday.  I always need birthday cards so I have made this fun card using a Gerda Steiner stamp set called "Go Wild".  I just love these giraffes!  I stamped out four giraffes, coloured them with Altenew Artist markers and Prisma pencils.  I have the matching dies for this set but because there were four of them, I decided to cut them all at once using my Scan n cut.  I love my scan n cut!

Muse Challenge #278

Hello and happy Friday!  I am playing along with the Muse challenge again this week .
Here is Anita's beautiful card and you can click HERE to take you directly to the Muse blog.

I was inspired by the soft colours, the white embossing and the layout of Anita's card.
I have used the Peaceful Garden stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays and Catherine Pooler Inks.  I white heat embossed the layers on the flowers and leaves.
Here is my card.

Less is More Pets challenge

Hello, I had some time to make another card this time for the Less is More Pets challenge.   I've used a Close to my Heart stamp set for my card today.  I coloured the dog, koala and cat with Prisma coloured pencils and sponged the background with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers using a cloud stencil from My Favorite Things.  I die cut a circle from my card panel added the little pets and mounted it onto my background piece with foam tape. The sentiment is from the same Close to my Heart set called Animal Greetings, Operation Smile.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge

Hello I'm back again with another card!  This time I am participating in the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge where the theme is Anything goes with a feminine twist.  I love flowers and you can't get much more feminine that flowers in my opinion!  I pulled out an old stamp set from Altenew called Magnolias for Her.  I love this stamp set, I think it is so pretty.  I coloured the flowers in with a mixture of Copics and Prisma pencils and die cut them with my Scan n cut.  The sentiment is from Altenew Label Love.

Muse Challenge #277

Hello, I'm playing along with the Muse Challenge today and the Guest Muse just happens to be my good friend Tristan!  Tristan's card is gorgeous and I was inspired by the blue flower, the embossing and the frame.
Here's Tristan's card.

I stamped several flowers from Altenew's Bamboo Rose stamp set and coloured them in with Altenew Artist Markers.  I die cut a frame from my Brother Scan n cut and while I was at it, I ran my stamped images through as well.  I love fussy cutting but I must admit now that I have my scan n cut, things are a lot quicker and easier!  I embossed the frame with a Stampin Up embossing folder.

Here's my card.

CAS-ual Fridays Stamp a Pattern

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  We have a fun challenge on the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog for you this week.  We challenge you to Stamp a Pattern! I used the Puffy Heart Love stamp set and  stamped a pattern of hearts around my main sentiment in versamark ink and white heat embossed.  I then sponged my card panel with various Catherine Pooler Inks and popped it up with foam tape onto my card base.

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is stamp a pattern on your project and link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps as the main focus of your card!  Good luck!
