Bee Strong
I created my card today for the Gerda Steiner monthly challenge. I stumbled across the Gerda Steiner range of stamps thanks to Therese from Lost in Paper. This "Bee Strong" digital stamp is this months challenge image. I coloured him with my Prisma colour pencils, fussy cut him out and placed him on top of my sponged, masked background. Here is the link to the monthly challenge if you want to check it out.

Masking and no dies allowed.
I made today's card initially for the "Masking" challenge over at Stamp Nation then I realised it was perfect for the "No dies allowed" challenge going on over at CAS-ual Fridays. I masked the middle panel of my card stock with a strip of post-it tape and stamped the "Simple flowers" from Altenew with Catherine Pooler inks. I was left with a gap where the inks don't quite meet the mask so I drew a line with a black marker to cover the gaps. I used one of my favourite sentiment stamps sets from CAS-ual Fridays called "Shenanigans". The sentiments in this stamp set are so bold and I love how it takes over as the focal point of my card. I stamped the sentiment "let the shenanigans begin" on the inside.

Off the edge
I created my card today for the CAS-ual Fridays "Off the edge" Challenge. I stamped my flowers from the Mon Ami stamp set and coloured them with Zig brush markers. Then I fussy cut the bottom and edge of my stamped image and adhered it onto a purple card base.

I won a prize!
I was lucky enough to have my name drawn out last December over on the Stamp Junkies Facebook group. My prize was a voucher to Perky Penny Papers and Joanne was very kind and helpful and suggested a new set from Altenew. I love Simply Flowers and I have made quite a few cards already. Thanks again to Stamp Junkies and Perky Penny Papers!

Background stamps
Hello, I created today's card for the latest challenge over at Stamp Nation. The challenge is to use a background stamp. My absolute favorite background stamp at the moment is the Dahlia close up from The Ton. I white heat embossed the image then coloured it with Zig clean color real brush markers. I stamped the sentiment from Altenew Label Love and added some silver thread behind it.

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Hello and welcome to my blog. I thought it was about time to start blogging and after a little push along by someone who inspires me, I have taken the plunge. I love to make cards and this blog is somewhere to share my creations and hopefully I will have the time to enter some challenges along the way.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my cards and thanks for looking.
Here's a card I made with a lovely stamp set and die that I was fortunate enough to win over at Instagram from Jo Herbert and Inspired by stamping. The stamp set is called Love Sentiments and the die is Love die!
I stamped the background with Catherine Pooler ink Something borrowed.
