CAS-ual Fridays - Shaker Card

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a fun shaker card.

I've used the Everyday Dragonflies stamp set and the coordinating Dragonflies dies.

I started by stamping the smallest dragonfly with a Kaleidacolor ink pad. Then I die cut it using the coordinating die.

I die cut a frame using some rectangle dies.

Next I cut a sheet of acetate and adhered it to the inside of the frame with some strong double sided tape.  I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 white card stock  and adhered the dragonfly with some liquid glue.

I added some strips of foam tape to the frame.  Then I added my sequins and adhered some down using liquid glue so they don't all appear at the bottom of the card.

I placed the frame over the top of  the card panel and adhered that to a card base.

Cleo Butterfly

 Hello and welcome!

I have a card today using a new stamp I purchased a few weeks ago.  I had some spare time and I felt like doing some colouring.  The stamp is the Cleo Floral Butterfly from Paper Rose Studio and I think it is so beautiful.

I stamped the butterfly with Memento Black ink and coloured it in with some Copic markers and Prisma pencils.  I love doing a base colour with alcohol markers then add shading using pencils.  I find it much easier to do it that way.  I decided to leave it sentiment free for now, I can add a sentiment later.

I am entering into Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge 174 which is anything goes.

Thanks for visiting, I'll be back on Wednesday with a card for CAS-ual Fridays.

Rachelle Anne Miller - Four Ducks

Hello, I am sharing a card today using one of the new release digital stamps from Rachelle Anne Miller .  I've used the Four Ducks digital stamp and coloured it in with Copic markers and Prisma pencils.  How cute are those ducks!

Once I coloured my image in, I die cut the panel using "Scallops & Dots" dies from Catherine Pooler and adhered it to a card base with some foam tape.  I stamped the sentiment from "Puddles of Fun" by Your Next Stamp.

I am entering into the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #333 - Dawn's All  About Occasions.

AAA Cards Challenge #206

Hello and welcome to our first challenge of 2022!

We say a sad good bye to Jane,  Lucie, Arlene and Joy and welcome to our  new design team members, Sue, Tristan and Neil.

To celebrate the New Year, new beginnings and new blog colours AAA Birthday and AAA Cards are having a micro blog hop.
You can find the details below.

We have a moodboard to inspire you for our first challenge.

I was inspired by the snowflake in the moodboard, it's been a hot week here as we are in the middle of our Summer!
I stamped the snowflake from the "Bring on the Snowflakes" stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays with Catherine Pooler "Pucker Up" ink . While the ink was still wet, I sprinkled some sparkle embossing powder over it.  You have to be quick but it works!  Then I die cut one of the snowflakes from "Funky Flakes" by CAS-ual Fridays, sponged it with the same colour ink.  I adhered the die cut directly over the top of my stamped image.

Thanks for visiting and we would love to see you join in on our challenge, just remember we like to see lots of white space.

All you have to do is make a card using the above theme and link it up HERE.
