For my card today I've used a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

Less is More Challenge #455 - Winter Whites

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Less is More and this time we are looking for Winter Whites on your card.

For my card today I've used a Christmas tree die from Memory Box.  I've had this die for years and haven't used it much so this is the perfect time!

I ink blended some Catherine Pooler "It's a Boy" ink and adhered the Christmas tree using liquid glue.  I think it needed a touch of colour to make the tree stand out.  Then I added a little bit of bling for the ornaments.  I stamped the sentiment from Uniko with some black ink.

We would love you to join us for our Winter White challenge.  Click HERE to take you over to the challenge blog to see all the DT inspiration.

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing this card I made for their 9th Birthday celebrations!

Can you believe that!! Happy 9th Birthday CAS-ual Fridays!

For my card today I have used the Champagne Flute Die along with the Birthday Dies and the Happy Birthday stamps.

I started by die cutting the champagne flute out using an alcohol inked piece I had in my stash.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment onto a card panel and adhered the champagne flute over the top with liquid glue.

I die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment in black card stock and adhered that over the top of the stamped sentiment so it was showing on top of the glass.

I saved the little dots from the die cut bubbles and adhered them randomly.

Thanks for visiting and be sure to pop over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to see all the inspiration from the rest of the Design Team.

CAS-ual Fridays - Breast Cancer Awareness

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a card I made for Breast Cancer Awareness month!

I am living proof of the importance of regular breast checks!  In October 2019 I got the news that threw me for six.  I had my regular mammogram which I was two months late having as I had been away and just put it off until after my holiday.  They found something that hadn’t been there in previous mammograms and called me back in to investigate. This certainly saved my life and long story short it was early stage but the very aggressive type.  I spent the next 9 months having treatment and so far so good!  Sadly I lost my sister to breast cancer in 2004 hence the regular mammograms.
I hope my story encourages you to have regular checks.
Early detection is the key and can save your life!

Now on to my card!  I used the Love Ribbon stencil with Catherine Pooler inks.  While the stencil was still in place I added some glitter paste which gave the little hearts some dimension and sparkle.
I die cut the “Just Breathe”  in white and black card stock and adhered them together to give that shadow effect.  I then adhered to the stenciled piece using liquid adhesive.
