CAS-ual Fridays Tic Tac Toe

Hello and happy Friday!  Today's challenge #177 over at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog is a fun Tic Tac Toe challenge.  You can choose any line horizontal, vertical or diagonal.

For my card I chose the middle line, monochromatic, add a tag and no embellishments.  I used a tag from the Tag Buddies die and stamped the sentiment from the Bold Wishes stamp set.  Then I pulled out my Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze ink pad and stamped the image from the Bold wishes across the bottom.  I also stamped it along the bottom of my card base and adhered the tag to my card.  I added a bow to the tag because in my opinion every tag needs a bow!  Then I thought, is that considered an embellishment!!  Well its not really an embellishment on my card if its on the tag is it?

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 176

Hello and happy Friday!  This week over at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog we are playing with colour.  The challenge is to use the colours Coral, Aqua and Grey on your card.

I stamped some flowers and leaves from the Pretty Posies set and white heat embossed them.  I coloured them with a combination of Zig markers and die cut them using the co-ordinating Posies die set.  I stamped several of the leaves straight onto my card base with Memento London Fog and arranged the die cuts over the top.  My sentiment is stamped in the same London Fog ink with a sentiment from the Pretty Posies set.

Less is more #332

Hello, today I made a card for the Less is More Challenge.  The theme this week is "One layer" Sweet things.  I used the Mama Elephant "Carnival cupcakes" stamp set and my Distress markers to make this sweet little birthday card.  The sentiment is from Newton's Nook birthday bash stamp set.  If you want to check out the Less is More challenge blog click here.  Here is my card.

Hello friend

Hello and happy Friday!  These Friday's certainly come around fast!!

My card for today is for the Gerda Steiner challenge for the month of June.  The free digi stamp I received this month is this cute little turtle.  I coloured him with Zig markers and popped him onto a textured white card base.  I stamped the border along the bottom with a stamp from the CAS-ual Fridays modern petals set and the sentiment from the Pretty Posies set also from CAS-ual Fridays. CAS-ual Fridays Challenge # 175

                 

Hello, it's that time of the week again!  Happy Friday!  Today's challenge over at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog is  Pattern Paper.  I have trouble cutting into my pretty paper at the best of times but today I used some beautiful double sided wrapping paper that I received a gift in.  I may just give this card to my lovely friend that gave me the gift!  It is her birthday in July.  I stamped the sentiment from the Bold Wishes stamp set,  tied a piece of twine around the top and called it a day.

The Ton Tic Tac Toe

Hello, This is my second post for the day and my second card for The Ton Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I thought I would try the no line coloring, non rectangular, water color column while I had my supplies out.  I used a circle die to make the shape of my card and stamped the beautiful "Sending Peonies" stamp in old paper distress ink. Then I took to it with my zig markers and water.  I coloured the leaves in with Finetec Gold water colour paint.  I had to add some splatters because I got a mark on the white space!!  Click here to check out the challenge.

The Ton Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hello,  Today I am playing along in The Ton Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  Nothing like leaving things till the last minute, the challenge is about to end!

I chose Gold, Stripes and water colour so I heat embossed the Peony from The Ton Large Peony 1 stamp set and water coloured it with my Zigs.  I used some gold striped washi tape along the bottom and stamped my sentiment from the same set underneath.
