Hello, my card today is for the Less is More challenge #350 OLC Stars. I used an old stamp set from Clearly Besotted called Superstar. I didn't read the challenge properly to start with and I made a card using the matching die set and popped up my stars with dimensionals. Then I had a closer look and realised it is a OLC (one layer card) challenge so I made another one using the stamps. I stamped the stars with my Kaleidacolor Caribbean Sea ink pad and added some glitter using a Quickie glue pen.
And here is my first card using the die cuts and my yupo alcohol ink piece.
Thanks for looking and you can check the Less is More challenge out here!
Beautiful cards, Michelle! I love the creations you are making with alcohol inks and yupo, the are amazing.
ReplyDeleteNice OLC catch Michelle. We’ve all done that before. 😉 Both cards are beautiful. Love the kaleidoscope inked stars. Thank you for joining us this week at Less is More.
ReplyDeleteWow, these cards are beautiful. Terrific design. Thanks for sharing at Less is More!
ReplyDeleteLoving these CAS beauties, Michelle. Love that you used the kaleidacolor inks here, such a lovely effect with those detailed stars (completely forgot that I have that CBS set!). And even though your second card doesn't qualify, what a stunner!! The effect on those stars is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
Both cards look fabulous Michelle. So glad you posted both cards here to see the difference between the one layer and the popped up version. They both use beautiful ink colours and your ratio of splattered ink is perfect to preserve that clear white space we so love. Gorgeous work. Thanks for popping these in to us at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteboth cards are lovely. the colour combo in the OLC one is fab xx
