A Card in a Box with CAS-ual Fridays

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a fun box card filled with Pretty Posies flowers.

I have made the square box cards before but this is the first rectangle one I have made.  It just gives you that little bit more room to play with.  They are pretty quick and easy to make and there are plenty of tutorials on you tube on how to make the box.  This one was made from one piece of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock.  I added some patterned paper that I have been hoarding and matched the colors with Catherine Pooler inks for the flowers and leaves.

You can find more details on the CAS-ual Fridays blog if you're interested.

I am entering the following challenges:

I hope you like my box of flowers and I have inspired you to make one.
Also don't forget you can use my special discount code below.

  1. You must have had a lot of fun creating this and the colouring is beautiful. Gorgeous box card for some lucky person. x

  2. Fantastic card box I love this idea and all that wonderful pink. Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge and we hope to see you there again soon. Aileen DesignTeam

  3. I have NEVER made a box card but keep seeing them all over the place. This one blew me away as I adore how you added the flowers. Love how you coloured them (the CP inks blend so beautifully) and the spotting paper on the edges is so cute too. You've inspired me to have a go, will have to show you what I come up with (if it isn't too embarassing.....). Over the moon you shared this with us at The Flower Challenge too.

  4. Oh wow Michelle! This is absolutely gorgeous!

Thank you for playing along with us at Creative Knockouts!

  5. Gorgeous box! Thanks for joining the challenge at Not Just Cards.
