After a very difficult and sad time in my life I finally feel like making cards again.

CASE me a Christmas card with Michelle Lupton

 Hello,  I'm so happy to be joining my friend Michelle Lupton again this year for her "CASE me a Christmas Card" series.

I chose to CASE one of Michelle's clean and simple cards and kept it pretty much the same.  I changed the colour of the ink blended back ground and added the Christmas bunny from MFT Christmas Cheer stamp set.

CAS-ual Fridays 4 Petals

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing two clean and simple birthday cards!

I've made two birthday cards using the  4 Petals die along with a sentiment from the Love Notes stamp set.  

I started by die cutting the petals from white card stock.  I colored them in with some Copic Markers and added some white gel pen to the middle.  Next I adhered them to a card panel and stamped the Happy Birthday directly underneath.  I adhered the panel onto a top folding card base using some foam tape.  I couldn't decide which size petal I wanted to use on my clean and simple card so I made one with the small petals and one with the larger petals.

CAS-ual Fridays Flowery Duo

 Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a card I made using a leftover alcohol ink piece.

I love playing with my Alcohol Inks but I just can't seem to get the hang of it! I always end up overdoing it and I need to learn not to overwork it.    Anyway I have fun playing and I'm left with heaps of  pieces to die cut.

I white heat embossed the Flowery Duo stamp set and die cut it using the matching die that comes with the set.  I adhered it to a white card panel using some foam tape and stamped the sentiment from Shenanigans stamp set.  I splattered some gold shimmery paint over my card panel and adhered it to a top folding card base.

CAS-ual Fridays Love Notes

I started by stamping onto a piece of  white card stock  and then did some ink blending using Catherine Pooler inks.   This one is going straight to my  husband!

Less is More Challenge #467

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Less is More and this time we would like to see you use just one image on your one layer card! You may include a sentiment.

 

For my card I've used the "Silly Monsters Two" stamp set from Your Next Stamp.

I coloured the monster in with my Prisma pencils and added some spots using a white gel pen.

CAS-ual Fridays Flowery Background

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing two cards I made using the one background piece.

I white heat embossed the Flowery Background Stamp onto a piece of watercolor card stock and got my Karin Brush markers out.  I love the vibrancy of these watercolor markers.  When it was dry I die cut it with a rectangle die.  I wanted it a bit smaller so I die cut it again with a smaller rectangle.  I was left with a frame so I used that as well on another card!

I adhered my background piece onto a top folding card base with some foam tape and added the "Hello" die cut from the Sweet Friends Dies.

For my next card I added some foam tape to the frame and stamped and colored some of the flowers from the Flower Duo set and adhered them onto the frame.  I added the Happy Birthday sentiments from the Love Notes Stamp set.

CAS-ual Fridays - Masculine Birthday card

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a quick masculine birthday card.

I have a lot of males in my family and I'm not too keen on making masculine cards!

I was running out of cards for men in my stash so I pulled out the faithful "Shenanigans" stamp set along with my Catherine Pooler inks.

I stamped the birthday sentiment five times using different shades of blue/green ink and added the "happy" with some foam tape. I used the MISTI and moved my card panel up an inch each time.
