Pretty Posies

Hello, I made a card today using one of my most favourite stamp sets of all time and it just happens to fit two challenges.  I am entering it into The Flower Challenge #24 which is "anything goes" and Watercooler Wednesday #187 which is "All about occasions".

I stamped the largest flower from CAS-ual Fridays Pretty Posies twice in Versafine Black Onyx ink and coloured them in with Prisma pencils.  I did the same with the leaves from the same set.  I have the co-ordinating dies for Pretty Posies but because there were several images, I decided to use my Scan n Cut. (much quicker)  I stamped the frame from Stampin Up Swirly Frames directly onto my top folding card base and adhered the flowers and leaves with glue and foam tape.

Thanks for looking and I''ll be back tomorrow with my card for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

  3. Oh Michelle, I can see why those flower images are your favourites. And you've used them so beautifully, too. Love the stamped frame, too. But it's the flowers which are the clear stars of this card. There is enough difference in the beautiful colouring of the two blooms that each demands to be admired. Lovely work! Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
