Less is More Challenge #343

Hello, today's card is for the challenge going on over at the  Less is More blog.

The challenge is to think outside the box and use a real object!  As soon as I saw this challenge I immediately thought of a card I had made for my hubby yesterday.  I picked up a cute stamp set from Close to my Heart called Animal Greetings, Operation smile.  There are some cute animals and sayings in there and I thought this one was perfect.  We had a little visitor in the house yesterday, a magpie decided to walk in the open door and couldn't get out.  He flew all over the family room and obviously he was scared (not as scared as me though) because there was bird poop all over the place by the time my hubby eventually got him out!  And the card I had just given to him had splatters of that all over it!!  That's something real isn't it!!  Of course I made a new one this morning and added some heart shaped confetti pieces as balloons and that is my something real!  Thanks for looking and if you got to the end of my story, thanks for reading!

The Flower Challenge #11

Hello, my card today is for The Flower Challenge where the focus is on background stamping.

I sponged some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink onto a piece of Bristol card stock then stamped the "Full on Floral" background stamp from CAS-ual Fridays with versamark and white heat embossed it. I stamped my sentiment from the "Bold Wishes" stamp set, also from CAS-ual Fridays in black versafine ink onto a small piece of Bristol and adhered it onto my background piece with foam squares.

Hello and happy Friday!
It's time for another CAS-ual Fridays challenge and the theme this week is "Kraft & White".  I have used the "Flowercase Alphabet" stamp set to stamp out HB2U and the "Frankly" stamp set for the sentiment.  I love the Flowercase set, the possibilities are endless!

Scrapbook Boutique Challenge

Hello, I made my card today for the August challenge over at the Scrapbook Boutique blog. They have a fun moodboard for inspiration.  I just love yellow and grey together!  I stamped my images from Catherine Pooler Designs "Beautiful You" stamp set in versamark, then white heat embossed.  I used my Zig clean color brush markers Lemon yellow, Yellow and Light Grey and a water brush.  I stamped my sentiment from the "Summer Bouquet" stamp set from Inspired by Stamping with Catherine Poolers "Black Jack" ink.

Birthday Monster

Hello and happy Friday!  My card today is for the monthly challenge over at Gerda Steiner Designs.  This ever so cute image is the "I didn't eat it (yet)! - Birthday Monster" digital stamp that I got for free this month for competing in the July challenge.  I printed him out on Bristol card stock and coloured with my Zig clean color real brush markers.  I stencilled the background with Catherine Pooler Designs Swoop stencil using Cracked Pistachio distress ink.  I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Summer Bouquet stamp set from Inspired by Stamping.

Friendship Friday at CAS-ual Fridays

Hello and happy Friday!

Today is the start of a new challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays.  The theme is Friendship so we would love to see you make a card for a friend and link it up over at the challenge for your chance to win!

I chose to use the ever so cute TUTU stamp set from the newest release, I think this could just be my most favourite stamp set so far!!  My sentiment is from the TRUTH IS stamp set.  I inked my ballerina up with Kaleidacolor Birthstone inkpad.
