Less is More Challenge #420 Going Dotty

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Less is More and this time we are going dotty with a one layer card!

For my card today I have used the Punctuated Party stamp set from Catherine Pooler Designs with some CP inks.  I added a little smiley face with a black pen for some fun.

For my card today I started by die cutting the cup from "Coffee Cup Fri-dies" and stamped a sentiment from "Cup Refills" stamp set directly onto the cup.  

Next I sponged some ink over a card panel using the "Modern Petals Stencil" and adhered the cup with some foam tape.

I die cut some flowers from an alcohol ink panel using the "4 Petal Fri-dies" and added them to the top of my cup.  I used a white gel pen on the middle of the petals.

For my card today I pulled out the Silly Monsters stamp set from Your Next Stamp.  I stamped the four eyed monster and coloured him in green.  The older you get, the more scary birthdays are!!

Pretty Posies and Zig Real Brush Markers

Hello, I'm up on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a card I made using my favorite floral stamp set!  I never tire of Pretty Posies and I find myself reaching for it whenever I feel like colouring.  Today I did some water colouring with my Ziggies on water colour card stock.

AAA Cards Challenge #165

Hello, we have a new challenge over at AAA Cards.

This time we would like to see you use up to one third with the optional twist of a repeating image.

For my card I have used one of the butterfly stamps from 

Uniko's English Country Garden - Butterflies stamp set and stamped it with versamark ink repeatedly in a line.  Then I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and sponged different colours of CP Ink over them.  I die cut a panel making sure it was about equal to a third of my card panel and splattered some water drops for a bit of added interest.  I white heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment onto some black card stock and added that with some foam tape.  I then foam mounted the panel onto a top folding card base.

Less is More Challenge #419

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Less is More.

For my card I decided to use a cream coloured die cut on a white card.  I used a die from Memory Box called Fresh Foliage and die cut it from some cream card stock.  I adhered it directly onto a white card panel and added a sentiment from The Ton.

CAS-ual Fridays Happily Ever After

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a wedding card I made using "Ever After" and "Terrific Flowers" stamp sets.

I love the font from this gorgeous sentiment set!  Ever After  

is filled with sentiments about love and perfect for weddings and anniversaries.

I started by stamping the whimsical floral from 

Terrific Flowers in grey ink and coloured it in with Prisma pencils.  

I then stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black ink over the top of my image.

WWC269 - Fifth Week Anything Goes Challenge

Hello, it's time for a new challenge at Watercooler Wednesday.

I made a birthday card for my hubby who celebrated his 60th birthday in ISO yesterday!  I told him we will celebrate it properly next year with a big combined 60th party!

I used a Balloon stencil from Neat & Tangled and sponged with Distress Inks in rainbow colours.  I stamped the bold sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays "Shenanigans" stamp set and die cut the 60 from black card stock.

For my card today I have used one of CAS-ual Fridays new stamp sets "Heart Ribbon".  This is a fantastic encouragement set with some beautiful sentiments.

I started by stamping the heart ribbon with versamark ink and white heat embossed it.  Then I sponged some pink ink using a blending brush. I stamped the sentiment with some light grey ink and foam mounted it over the heart ribbon.

Less is More Challenge #418

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Less is More.

This time we would like to see scribbles, drips and/or splats on your card.  

For my card I used a fun splatter stencil from Funky Fossil along with some distress ink.  The duck and sentiment is from Heffy Doodle "Quack me up" stamp set.  I coloured the cute duck in with my Zig brush markers and popped him up with some foam tape.

I have made a pet sympathy card today using one of the new stamp sets from CAS-ual Fridays called "Rainbow Bridge".  Our pets are one of the family and when we lose them they take a piece of our heart with them.

CAS-ual Fridays April Release Day 1

Hello, welcome to day 1 of the CAS-ual Fridays April release!

I am showcasing the Rainbow Bridge stamp set today.
We  all love our fur babies and it is heartbreaking when we lose them. There are some beautiful sentiments in this set.
I have teamed it with the Hearts A2 panel fri-die for my card today.

For my first card I've used one of the new stamps sets from the

CAS-ual Fridays March release called 

"Terrific Flowers". I stamped the flowers with CP Ink "Twilight"

and coloured them in with Prisma pencils.

I die cut the "Hello" from the "Sweet Friend Fri-Dies" and coloured it grey to match my stamping.

I used the Skyscape Mini Cover Plate die from Catherine Pooler Designs and made the frame using the Totally Rad patterned paper also from Catherine Pooler Designs.

For my next card I used CAS-ual Fridays "Pretty Posies" and "Little Birdie" stamps sets along with the free download from 

Catherine Pooler.  I stamped the flowers onto watercolour card stock, painted them and die cut them with the matching Fri-Die.

I coloured the bird in with Prisma Pencils.

How cute is that Little Birdie!  He looks like he is singing that song!
