CAS-ual Fridays Digi Stamp

Hello everyone,  I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a few cards using a digital stamp!

Do you remember the now retired Partridge in a Pear Tree stamp set?  Well it is now available as a digital stamp in the shop.  It's no secret I love playing with digi stamps.  I find them easy to work with and I love the fact that  you can resize them.  I also don't have to stalk the mail man!

I have two cards to share with you today in two different sizes.

I am entering into the following challenges:

I started by printing out two different sizes on one piece of card stock.
I used a light weight card stock for printing digi stamps and a laser printer for this project. You can also use an inkjet printer but I find you need to heat set the image before using alcohol markers so the print doesn't smudge.

Next I die cut them using two rectangle dies also in different sizes.

I coloured them in using a combination of alcohol markers and coloured pencils.
I matted the larger one onto some red card stock and added it to a top folding card.

I adhered the smaller one using some foam tape onto a top folding card base.

AAA Cards Challenge #197

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards.

This time we would like to see a one inch strip on your card with the optional twist of a coloured card base.  I have chosen not to go with the twist this time and stuck with a white card base.
I started by masking off a one inch strip on the bottom of my card panel and ink blended some Catherine Pooler “Pucker Up” ink.  Then I stamped one of the images from The Stamping Village Happy Birthday set using CP midnight ink. I coloured the present in with some alcohol markers.

Thanks for visiting and we would love to see you join in on the challenge.

All you have to do is make a card using the above theme and link it up HERE

Thanks for visiting.

CAS-ual Fridays Rainbow Clouds

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a card I made using the new Partly Cloudy Stencil and Little Birdies stamp set.

I love this stencil so much and I can't wait to play some more with it!  I thought the clouds would be a perfect background for the Little Birdies.

I started by stenciling various colors of Catherine Pooler Inks trying to stick to the colors of the rainbow.  Next I stamped and die cut the Little Birdies and colored them in with some alcohol markers and pencils.  I adhered the birdies to my background piece using some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of white card stock and adhered that with foam tape tucking it under the birdies feet.

I am entering into the following challenges:

Thanks for visiting and I hope I have inspired you to have some fun with rainbow colors.

CAS-ual Fridays Flowery Background

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing a card I made using the beautiful Flowery Background Stamp and some Karin Brush Markers.
I love using this stamp with white embossing powder!  I chose two colors of  Karin Markers and just scribbled onto my card panel and took to it with a water brush.
I die cut the Smile from the Sassy Smiles Duo using white and black card stock and adhered them together to give it a shadow effect.  The sentiment is from the same Sassy Smiles Duo set.
