AAA Cards Challenge #195

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards!

Our Guest Designer is - Zoe   with a beautiful embossed card, you can check it out HERE.

I'm still away from home with limited supplies so I have chosen not to go with the optional twist of dry embossing.  I am still in the Christmas in July mood so I drew a Christmassy Gnome and coloured him in with some Ohuhu alcohol markers.  I did some ink blending down the side of my card panel and was stuck for a sentiment so I wrote ho ho ho!

Thanks for visiting and we would love to see you join in on the challenge.

All you have to do is make a card using the above theme and link it up HERE

Less is More Challenge #448

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Less is More!

This time we are CASeing a card by birthday girl Elaine.  You can find Elaine's beautiful card over on the blog HERE.

I took my inspiration from the cut panels on Elaine's card.  I stamped the floral image from Altenew using my MISTI and Catherine Pooler inks.  Then I cut it into 4 pieces and adhered it to a card panel with some dimensional tape.  It's not quite as CAS as I would normally make but I am still away from home and have limited supplies with me.

We would love you to join in on our challenge by CASeing Elaine's card.  Click here to take you over to the blog and check out all the inspiration from the other DT members.

AAA Cards Challenge #194

 Hello and happy Sunday!

It's time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards and this one is a  "Twinchie"

What is a Twinchie you ask!  We would like to see everything contained within 2 inches on your card with the optional twist of Christmas in July.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented  - Deepti

For my card today, I die cut a 2" square from my card panel.  I stamped the pug from Simon Says Stamp, coloured it in with Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Markers and fussy cut it.  I stamped the sentiment onto the square die cut piece and adhered the pug with some liquid glue.  Then I adhered the frame from my die cut piece over the top using foam tape. I found that made it easy for me to keep within the 2 inches.

Thanks for visiting and we would love to see you join in on the challenge.

Less is More Challenge

Hello, it’s time for a new challenge over at Less is More!

Is it just me or does two weeks feel like one these days!!

Anyway the new challenge we have for you is Christmas in July.  I need to start making my Christmas cards in July just so I have them ready in time for December with the way the weeks fly by!

I’ve used a cute Pug stamp set from Simon Says Stamp for my card today.  I coloured the pug using Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers and cut him out.  I added some glossy accents to the Christmas baubles for a bit of dimension.  I adhered him to an ink blended panel with some foam tape and stamped the sentiment directly underneath.

We would love you to join in on our challenge by making a CAS Christmas in July card.  Click here to take you over to the blog and check out all the inspiration from the other DT members.

CAS-ual Fridays Slimline birthday card

Hello, I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today sharing  a birthday card using the Pinked Slimline dies and Everyday Dragonflies stamp set.

I started by white heat embossing the smaller dragonflies and ink blended various colors of Catherine Pooler Inks.  One of my favourite techniques is embossed resist!
I die cut the panel using the pinked slimline die and adhered it to a card base with foam tape.  I white heat embossed the sentiment onto some black card stock.

How cute is this Little Pilot!  I printed the digital stamp onto some Spectrum Noir card stock and coloured it in with Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers.  I fussy cut it out and adhered to an ink blended panel with some foam tape.  I thought it would be cute to add a banner flying from the plane announcing “it’s a boy” .
