Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps - Paper Boat

Hello and happy Monday!
I have another card for you today using the beautiful digital stamp "Paper Boat" from Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios.

For my card today I have coloured the sweet image with alcohol inks and Prisma pencils.  The background is sponged with Distress Ink on the sky and a grey Copic marker for the sea.  I added some white gel pen onto the paper boat.
How adorable is this image!  I have left my card sentiment free and I could easily add one when the time comes to send it out or leave it just as is.  To tell you the truth, I didn't want to spoil it by adding anything else! LOL

You can find lots more  inspiration over at the Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps Facebook Group so be sure to come over and check it out.  There is also a challenge going on over there and you can win one of Rachelle's digital stamps as well as one of her beautiful cards.

Stenciling with CAS-ual Fridays

Hello and happy Saturday.
CAS-ual Fridays are the weekend sponsor over at the Crafting of Hue facebook group.  We are celebrating with a blog hop, a prize and all the stencils are US$5.00 ea.

You can find all the details over here!

For my card today I have used the Bold Flower Stencil and Shenanigans stamp set.
I started by sponging CP Inks over the stencil using my new Wendy Vecchi Make Art Stay-tion.  I bought the mini one and it is perfect for keeping those stencils in place while inking.
After taking the stencil off, I used the ink left on my blending brushes to go over my card panel so it wasn't stark white.  I stamped the sentiment from Shenanigans stamp set and die cut the panel with two rectangle stitched dies. I popped up the center panel with some foam tape and glued the outer one directly onto the card base.

And it wouldn't be a blog hop without a prize!!
Michele is giving a US$50.00 certificate to spend in the shop to one lucky commenter!!

Thanks for looking and happy hopping!

Embossing chipboard with CAS-ual Fridays

Hello,  I'm over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with a card I made using the Musical Elements Chipboard and the Heart Beats stamp  set.

I had so much fun embossing the chipboard that I couldn't stop at one!

I pulled out my alcohol inks and yupo paper for the background.
I stamped the sentiment from the Heart Beats stamp set directly onto the yupo.  Make sure your ink is dry before you add it to your card base!  I didn't!

I started by using the embossing dabber and covering the chipboard.  You could also use an embossing ink stamp pad.  I did several layers of embossing as you can see in my photos below.
The more layers I did, the more it smoothed out.

Our fabulous sponsor for this month is:

For my first card I've used one of my all time favorite stamp sets "Pretty Posies" from CAS-ual Fridays.
I must admit, I wouldn't normally put these colours together but it didn't turn out too bad!  I white heat embossed the images onto some water colour card stock and coloured them in with zigs.

For my second card I've used the "Serendipi-tea" stamp set and the "Modern Petals" stencil also by CAS-ual  Fridays.
I coloured the tea pot in with alcohol markers and Prisma pencils.  The stenciling is done with CP ink Flirty Fuchsia.
I'm not sure which card is more fuchsia!
