WWC227 - Michelle's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Hello and happy Wednesday!
It's time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and this week yours truly is the host with an "All About Occasions" challenge.

For my card I've used the Catherine Pooler "Fluttering Friends" stamp set and coloured that cute bird in with my Prisma pencils.  I die cut all the images with my Scan n cut.  The happy birthday sentiment is from the same CP set.

CAS-ual Fridays June Release Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the CAS-ual Fridays June release!
Today we are showcasing the Stars A2 Panel Fri-Die.

I die cut the Stars Panel from white and black card stock and adhered them together slightly offset to give the shadow effect. I adhered the panel onto an alcohol ink background piece using liquid glue and inlaid some of the black stars back into the panel. The sentiment was stamped onto a separate piece of white card stock and I fussy cut around it and adhered it using some dimensional tape.

CAS-ual Fridays June Release -Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the CAS-ual Fridays new release!
Today we are showcasing the Flakey A2 Panel Fri-Die.
This is a beautiful snow flake cover die!

I sponged some distress ink onto a piece of white card stock and stamped the ballerina from "Sugar Plum Fairy" Stamp set in blue ink.  I thought she was a perfect fit for this die.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set along the bottom of my die cut panel and adhered directly onto the sponged piece. I added some spots of  glitter for a bit of added sparkle.

The Flower Challenge #33

Hello, I'm back with a card I made for the Flower Challenge which is "Focus on Background Stamping".  I have been trying to make this all month and finally had some time today on this cold winters day.

I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Altenew Bamboo Rose stamp set randomly all over a card panel.  I coloured them in with my Prisma pencils and used some Odourless Solvent to blend the colours.  I outlined the images with a grey marker to give some dimension.

Thanks for looking and you can click HERE to take you over to the Flower Challenge for some inspiration.

CAS-ual Fridays June Release Day 1

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the CAS-ual Fridays new release.
Today we are showcasing the cute stamp set Little Huggables and the companion Little Critters Fri-Dies.

I stamped and coloured the Little Critters then die cut them.
I sponged some pink clouds onto a piece of card stock and die cut a circle from another piece of white card stock.  I adhered my critters with some foam tape directly onto the stencilled clouds and added the front panel also with foam tape.  The sentiment is from the Whole Shebang stamp set and I curved it on my block to follow the circle.  I'm off to make a blue one now!

I have made a Christmas card this week instead of my usual birthday card.  I hope to have a good stash of Christmas cards by the end of the year.  Well that is my intention!
I have used a digi stamp from Bugaboo for my card and coloured it in with Prisma pencils.  I cut it out with my scan n cut and adhered it with some foam tape onto a top folding card base.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

AAA Cards Challenge - I'm on the Design Team!

Hello and happy Sunday!  I'm so happy to announce that I am  joining the Design Team over at AAA Cards.
AAA cards is one of my favourite CAS card challenges and I was so excited when Jane contacted me and invited me to join them.

My first challenge as a DT member is a one layer with the optional twist of Black and White.
Our sponsor is STAMPlorations and our Guest Designer is - Nancy (Nananas)

I immediately thought of the Boston Terrier stamp from CAS-ual Fridays called Nate & Friday.
This card took me no time at all! One layer and one colour of ink!  I added a touch of grey pencil under my image to ground him and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set.

CAS-ual Fridays Boston Terriers

Hello, I'm up on the CAS-ual Fridays blog today with this cute card I made for a Boston Terrier owner.
I had previously posted a card on my Instagram page using the Nate & Friday Stamp set and a friend saw it and asked if I could maker her one for her daughter who owns a Boston Terrier.

I stamped one of the gorgeous pups ( I believe it is Nate) in black and cut it out with my scan n cut.  Next I sponged some purple ink over the Modern Petals Stencil onto my card panel and adhered my Boston Terrier using some foam tape.  I stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt Sayings and added a strip of striped paper.
