CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #209

Hello and happy Friday!  We have a fun sketch challenge for you today over at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog.  I have used a combination of flowers from the Peace and Comfort and Peaceful Garden stamp sets.  I stamped with Catherine Pooler Inks and cut all my images out with my Scan  Cut.  The sentiment is from the Frankly stamp set.  There are some fun sentiments in that set and isn't that font beautiful!!

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is make a card using the sketch as inspiration and link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps as the main focus of your card!  Good luck!

Thanks for looking and I would love to see you over at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog.

Muse Card Club - Guest Muse #284

Hello and happy Monday!  I was so excited and honoured to be invited to be the Muse Guest designer for this week.  I love participating in the Muse challenges, it forces me to think!! LOL
If you haven't already visited the Muse challenge, do yourself a favour and click HERE to check it out.

I decided to make a floral card for this weeks challenge because I love all things pretty!

I stamped this beautiful floral image from Catherine Pooler Designs Grateful Heart stamp set in the bottom left hand corner of my card panel.  I always seem to gravitate to that spot, possibly because I am left handed.  I coloured the flowers in with Kaszazz Alcohol Markers and just added a touch of grey to the leaves.  I added a small strip of patterned paper along the bottom and stamped the sentiment from a Close to my Heart stamp set.

Here's my card.

Thanks for looking and I would love you to join in on the fun over at Muse this week!

Less is More Challenge #380

Hello, I'm back again with another card this time for the One Layer Floral Challenge over at Less is More.
Sometimes I forget how hard a one layer card is until I make a mistake and then realise I can't cover my mistake up!!  I stamped a little bit more than I would usually on this card because it just didn't seem to look right and then I added too many little flowers so I had to add more leaves.  Anyway, I'm not really happy with it but I ran out of time to do another!
So here's my card.   I used CAS-ual Fridays Peaceful Garden and Peace and Comfort stamp sets with Catherine Pooler Designs Ink.

CAS Christmas Card Challenge

Hello, my card today is for the September CAS Christmas Card Challenge.  I almost ran out of time to enter but then I saw a reminder from Nance on Instagram so I got cracking!  I have used another old stamp today from Penny Black called Adornment.  I have had this stamp for many years!   I stamped the wreath in CP Designs Rockin Red Ink and then heat embossed it with a clear sparkle embossing powder.  I stamped the Merry Christmas from a Kaisercraft set with Versafine Black Onyx ink.  It is hard to get a good photo of all the sparkle but it is there!

AAA Challenge #124 - Imagine

Hello and happy Sunday!  My card today is for the latest challenge over at AAA Cards.  This weeks theme is IMAGINE.  I knew immediately which stamp set I was going to use for this challenge!  I pulled out this very old stamp set from an Australian company called Stamp-It who I think unfortunately has gone out of business.  This set is full of beautiful quotes.

I stamped the butterfly image with my Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze ink pad and went over a few of the images with a glitter pen.  I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx ink.

Muse Challenge #283

My card today is for the Muse challenge #283. This week's Muse is Kim with this cute Hippo card!

                                                                     Kim's card

I was inspired by the hippo and cupcakes on Kim's card!  I stamped my Hippo from Close to my Heart Safari Ballet stamp set and coloured her in with Kaszazz alcohol markers.  Then I searched my stash for a small cup cake and came across a set I think I got with a magazine years ago.

Here's my take on Kim's card.

Muse Challenge #282

Hello, my card today is for the Muse Challenge.  Tracey McNeely is this weeks Muse with this beautiful floral card.

I was inspired by the colours and the layout of Tracey's card.  I pulled out an old Stampin Up stamp set " Blooms & Wishes"  that I am sad to say I have used once!  I used Catherine Pooler inks in All That Jazz, Tiara, Tiki Torch and Black Jack.

Here's my card.

Pretty Posies

Hello, I made a card today using one of my most favourite stamp sets of all time and it just happens to fit two challenges.  I am entering it into The Flower Challenge #24 which is "anything goes" and Watercooler Wednesday #187 which is "All about occasions".

I stamped the largest flower from CAS-ual Fridays Pretty Posies twice in Versafine Black Onyx ink and coloured them in with Prisma pencils.  I did the same with the leaves from the same set.  I have the co-ordinating dies for Pretty Posies but because there were several images, I decided to use my Scan n Cut. (much quicker)  I stamped the frame from Stampin Up Swirly Frames directly onto my top folding card base and adhered the flowers and leaves with glue and foam tape.

Thanks for looking and I''ll be back tomorrow with my card for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

AAA Sketch Challenge #123

Hello, my card today is for the  AAA Cards sketch challenge.  I made a mask using a circle die and sponged distress inks directly onto my card front.  I stamped several images from the Uniquely Creative "You...Calyptus" stamp set in Versafine Black Onyx ink whilst my mask was still in place.  My little hummingbird is from Pretty Pink Posh Hummingbird Thanks stamp set.

Muse Challenge #281

Hello and happy Monday!  My card today is for the current Muse challenge.  I've left it to the last minute because I had a mental blank on this one!  LOL  Anyway I finally came up with something that I think fits the bill.  Anita's card is beautiful and I was inspired by the hair, the purple and the bold black. I pulled out an old stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps, I thought the flowing stems stamped in purple was a fit.
.
Here's Anita's card.  Click HERE to take you over to the Muse Challenge.

And here's my interpretation.

Thanks for looking and have a great week!

Less is More Challenge #379

Hello, my card today is for the Less is More Challenge which is to use black, white and one other colour.  I have used a new stamp from Uniko called Framed Florals.  I stamped in Versafine Black onyx ink and clear heat embossed then coloured in with my Kaszazz alcohol markers.  The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays Bushy Tailed stamp set.
