Fresh flutters at The Card Concept
Hello, I'm playing along with a Challenge over at The Card Concept today.
I was inspired by Susan Powell who encouraged me to enter. Susan makes the most beautiful cards! I clear heat embossed the butterflies from Catherine Pooler's Butterfly Notes stamp set then sponged distress inks over the top. I splattered some water and used a white gel pen to add some dots then added my sentiment.

Fancy fold cards
Hello, this month over at Stamp Nation we are learning how to make fancy fold and moving cards. The first lesson from Catherine is this exploding card. It was lots of fun to make. I have used one of my favorite sentiment sets again from CAS-ual Fridays - Shenanigans and a Sugar Pea designs set from the Young at Heart Stamp of Approval collection. Look how nicely those Catherine Pooler inks stamp on copy paper!!
I am also having fun with this weeks challenge which is based on Kristie's Uniquely stamped series.
I have used the stamps from Altenews Simple flowers to make my mouse and the cake stamp from the SOA Young at Heart collection for the cheese!

Less is More
Hello, I made today's card for the challenge over at Less is More. This week, the challenge #323 is CURVE so I shaped my sentiment on the block to form a curve. The sentiment is from Altenew's simple flowers set. I stamped the flowers from a new to me stamp set from Papertrey Ink called Rosie Posie. I have admired this set for a few years now and I took advantage of the sale they had going on for their 10th anniversary. I used Catherine Pooler Inks except for the base colour of the flower which is Hero arts Bubblegum pink. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Catherine brings out a lighter shade of pink in her next release.

Altenew April challenge
Hello. I made today's card for the April challenge going on over at the Altenew Blog. The challenge is to make a card based on the inspiration photo below. You can check the challenge out here.
I coloured the flowers from Magnolias for her stamp set and made my background by smooshing distress ink onto a piece of Bazzill Marshmallow card stock. I fussy cut my flowers out and added them to the water coloured background piece with the sentiment from Altenew Label Love. I added some silver thread, sequins and a piece of silver glitter tape to finish things off.
