Challenge me a Christmas card with Michelle Lupton

Hello and happy Saturday!
I'm so happy to be joining Michelle Lupton again this year for her "Challenge me a Christmas Card" event!
Michelle asked me to choose a theme so I have chosen glitter.  I can't wait to see what Michelle has made, her cards are beautiful!

For my card I have used a stamp from Whimsy Stamps that I have had in my stash for a few years.  I love pulling out old stamps to use at Christmas time.  Actually I can't recall ever using this one!!
I coloured this cute little hamster in with Copics and Prisma pencils and then used a quickie glue pen to add some glitter.
I'd forgotten how hard it is to capture all the sparkle of glitter in photos!

Here's a close up showing more of the glitter.

Thanks for visiting and you can click HERE to take you over to Michelle's blog to see her glittery Christmas card.

CAS-ual Fridays WCMD Challenge

Hello, today we are celebrating World Card Making Day with a challenge over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog.
There are prizes to be won as well as a Guest Designer gig!

No photo description available.

For my card today I have used the Full on Floral background stamp.
I white heat embossed it onto some white card stock and sponged with a few different colour inks.  I went over a few of the flowers with a Prisma pencil.  I die cut the "hello" from the Sweet Friend Fri-Dies several times in white card stock then added some glitter to the top layer.

WWC241 - Dawn's Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and this week Dawn is our host with a Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge.

I just received a new stencil from Simon Says Stamp called "Flora".  I ink blended Coral Cabana and Be Mine CP ink over the stencil then I took some Prisma pencils in similar colours and added some shading.  I cut a strip and matted it with some black card stock and adhered it directly onto a white card base. The sentiment strip is from The Ton digital stamps.

For my card today I have used the Coffee Talk stamp set and the Coffee Cup Fri-Dies.
I started by smooshing some watercolour inks onto a piece of watercolour paper and when it was dry I die cut the large coffee cup from it.  I then die cut a heap of the smaller cup in white card stock and adhered them all onto a card panel.  I die cut the "coffee" sentiment from black card stock and adhered that onto the coffee cup then stamped the sentiment underneath.

Make sure you hop over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to see all the coffee cards the DT has made.

so all cards have sparkle plus another element from this list

I chose Sparkle and Pearl for my card today.  I used the gorgeous butterfly stencil from Visible Image with a few different shades of blue ink.  With the stencil still in place, I sprayed some perfect pearls. I then removed the stencil and added some spots of glue using a glue pen, then sprinkled it with glitter.
It's really sparkly and pearly in real life!

We would love you to join us!  All you have to do is make a CAS card using the above theme and link it up to our challenge HERE.  Don't forget we like to see lots of white space on your card.

Thanks for visiting and I'll be back tomorrow.

WWC240 - Kath's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Hello and happy Wednesday, it's time for a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday and Kath is our host this week with an "All About Occasions" Challenge.
I have made a birthday card using a gorgeous background stamp from Catherine Pooler Designs called "Climbing Flowers".
I stamped the image onto a piece of Neenah 80lb card stock with versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Then I ink blended three different colours of CP inks using  blending brush.  I die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a card base with some fun foam.  I added a sentiment strip from The Ton digital stamps.
