AAA Cards Challenge #147

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards.

Our very generous sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays with a $25 gift code for the lucky winner.  Our guest designer is the lovely Angie Cimbalo with a stunning card for you.

For my card today I have used "Love Notes" and "Heart Beats" stamp sets from CAS-ual Fridays.  I started by stamping the love notes down the edge of my card panel in black ink, then sponged some colour over the top using Catherine Pooler Inks. I splattered some water drops over the ink then stamped the sentiment using the same black ink and foam mounted the card panel onto a top folding card base.

We would love you to join us, all you have to do is make a CAS card as per our theme above and link it up to our blog HERE.  Just remember we like to see lots of White Space on your cards!

Thanks for visiting!

Less Is More Challenge #402

Hello and happy Saturday!  It's time for a new challenge at Less is More and this time we would like to see you make a One Layer Card using stencils.

Our sponsor is Funky Fossil Designs and they have the most beautiful stencils.

For my card today I have used a beautiful heart stencil from Funky Fossil. There are two parts to this stencil, the outline which I sponged Catherine Pooler All That Jazz ink over.  Then I inlaid the second part of the stencil and used CP Daydream ink.
I stamped the sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays "Sands of Time 2" stamp set.

We would love you to join us!  All you have to do is make a one lay card using stencils and link it up to our challenge HERE.  Don't forget we like to see lots of white space on your card.

Thanks for visiting!

WWC234 - Dawn's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Hello, it's Wednesday again so that means it's time for a new challenger over at Watercooler Wednesday.  The lovely Dawn is our host this week with an "All About Occasions" challenge.

I have made a Christmas card this time using a new to me stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs called "Reindeer and a Tree". This set is full of cute little Reindeer, a Santa and a Christmas Tree.
I stamped out all six of the reindeer and the Santa and coloured them in with alcohol markers.  I cut them out using my Scan n Cut and adhered the Santa and two of the reindeer to a card panel that I embossed to look like snow. Now that I look at my finished card, I think I should have positioned that last reindeer differently!  He looks like he is doing something he shouldn't be if you know what I mean!!  Do you think! ha ha

CAS Christmas Card Challenge Guest Designer

Hello, I am happy to be Guest Designing for the CAS Christmas Card Challenge for the month of August!
This months challenge is "Glitter" and I can't think of a better time than Christmas to use up some of my glitter!

I've used the Christmas Sparkle stamp set from Uniko for my card.  I inked it up with my Kaliedacolor Ink Pad in Blue Breeze using my MISTI.  Then I went over it again with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with some diamond glitter embossing powder.  I stamped the sentiment and bow from the same set in black ink then added some glitter using a glue pen around the edge of the cardstock.

Thanks for visiting and if you would like to join in on the fun over at CAS Christmas click HERE to take you over to the challenge blog.  There is lots of inspiration from the DT to get your creative juices flowing.
