Less is More Challenge #399

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Less is More and this time we want you to celebrate!
Our theme is Celebrations so for my first card I have used the big bold Celebrate sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays "Shenanigans" stamp set.  I stamped the sentiments in black and stenciled some balloons using the Neat & Tangled Balloons Duo stencil.

My second card uses the Celebrate die from Catherine Pooler Designs and some alcohol ink pieces.  I recently purchased some of the pearl inks and I've been playing around with them.  I tend to go overboard and don't know when to stop so I have a lot of pieces that are only good for die cutting! I used a balloon die from Clearly Besotted.

Our very generous sponsor this month is

Our Guest Designer is our May winner - Viv
with a gorgeous card!

We would love you to join us!  All you have to do is make a card using the theme celebrate and link it up to our challenge HERE.  Don't forget we like to see lots of white space on your card.

Thanks for looking and I'll be back again tomorrow!

CAS Christmas Card Challenge - July

Hello and happy Friday!  Today I am playing along in the CAS Christmas Card Challenge where this months theme is Snowflakes.
For my card I have used an old stamp and die set from WPlus9.
I die cut the word JOY from an alcohol ink piece I made using the new pearl inks.  I die cut the snowflake from the same set in white and added it over the "o".  The sentiment is silver heat embossed.

CAS Mix it up Challenge - Guest Designer

Hello and happy Monday!  Today is the first day of July, unless you are from my part of the world! If you are joining me from Australia then happy Tuesday the 2nd of July!

I'm happy to say I'm Guest Designer at CAS Mix it up Challenge for the month of July.

This months challenge is Alcohol Lift.
I have had the Ranger Alcohol Lift-Ink for some time and I hadn't really used it till now.  I must say I didn't completely know how to use it but now that I've learnt that you have to rub it with a paper towel afterwards for your image to appear, I think I will use it more often.

I used a few different colours of alcohol ink on some yupo paper with some blending solution.  I grabbed an alcohol swab, bunched it up and dabbed it all over the yupo for some extra effects.
I have a bad habit of not knowing when to stop with these inks so I had to restrain myself!

When it was dry, I stamped the butterfly from Happy Little Stampers with the alcohol lift ink.
It's like magic when you rub away at it!
I used a Decofoil adhesive pen to add some gold foiled dots, mounted it onto a black mat and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set.

You can click HERE to take you over to this months challenge.
Thanks to the CAS Mix it up team for having me!
I'll be back with another card using the left over alcohol piece for the reminder challenge on the 15th.

Thanks for visiting!
