The Ton Challenge - Let's Flamingle!

Hello, my card today is for the Heart challenge going on over at The Ton Challenge blog.  I smooshed CP Designs ink onto a piece of Bristol card stock with a piece of acetate and some water then I stamped the flamingo's from The Ton's "Darling Flamingos stamp set.  This is a layering stamp set and it is quite easy to line up. The sentiment is from the same set.  My hubby is getting an awful lot of love cards from me this month!!  I added a little bit of white prisma pencil to the body of the flamingo just to lighten it up a bit.

Gerda Steiner February Challenge

Hello, my card today is for the monthly Gerda Steiner Challenge.  Click here to go straight to the challenge blog.  This months free digi is these love bunnies.  Perfect for this time of year. I coloured them in with my Zigs and fussy cut them out. The border stamp is from Uniko's Background Builders: Squared stamp set.

CAS-ual Fridays Sketch Challenge #193

Hello and happy Friday!  We have a fun sketch challenge for you this week over at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog.  There's no better way to get the creative juices flowing than a sketch  in my opinion!  I die cut the hearts using the Heart Board Fri-dies from one of my many alcohol ink background pieces and stamped the sentiment from the Peace and Comfort stamp set.  This card is perfect for my beautiful husband and that sentiment says it all!

CAS-ual Fridays Encouragement challenge

Hello, this is my second post in one day!  I will get myself organised one day and post them all at once!  I am playing along with the CAS-ual Fridays Calling all Sistahs Encouragement Challenge and you can check it out here.
I was inspired by the colours and I thought Catherine Pooler inks were perfect for this.  I used Juniper Mist, Something Borrowed and Fiesta Blue and did the ink smooshing technique again.  The cute little ballerina and the sentiment is from the CAS-ual Fridays Tutu stamp set.

Love Notes

Hello, my card today is for the latest challenge over at Less is More where the cue card is Music.  With Valentines day nearby I thought I would use the fun set from Casual Fridays called Love Notes.  It is perfect for this challenge!  I white heat embossed the music notes and smooshed CP Designs ink in Flirty Fuchsia and Something Borrowed over the top.  I white heat embossed the sentiment from the same set onto a strip of black card stock and added some splatters of the Something Borrowed and Heidi Swapp Gold color shine.  Thanks for looking, you can check out the challenge here!

Hearts, hearts, hearts with CAS-ual Fridays

Hello and happy Friday!  Our challenge #192 over at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog this week is Hearts, Hearts and more Hearts!!  February is full of love and I have used the "Puffy Heart Love" stamp set on my card for this fun challenge.  I stamped the "Oh be still my heart" sentiment onto a background piece I made using alcohol inks in my favourite colours and  added some gold splatters using a Heidi Swapp Gold color shine spray.  I adhered it onto a piece of white card stock with some foam tape, stamped a few black hearts from the same set and adhered onto a white card base.
